The Summit County Medical Examiner has released the names of the two teenagers killed May 28 after they were struck by a car around 4:43 p.m. on South Main Street near the intersection of Leicester Drive in Coventry Township.
Taylor Galloway, 14, from Akron was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Medical Examiner. Amber Thoma, 14, from Coventry Township, who was taken to Akron General Medical Center, later died from her injuries.

COVENTRY TOWNSHIP -- Police have not yet released the names of the two 14-year-old girls who were struck and killed May 28 around 4:43 p.m. on South Main Street near the intersection of Leicester Drive.
According to Summit County Sheriff's Department Inspector Bill Holland, a 24-year-old New Franklin woman driving a 1999 Ford Escort crossed the fog line and struck three children who were walking southbound on South Main Street.
A 14-year-old girl from Akron was pronounced dead at the scene. A 14-year-old girl from Coventry Township, who was taken to Akron General Medical Center, later died from her injuries.
A 14-year-old male from Coventry Township was taken to Akron Children's Hospital with serious injuries.
South Main Street was closed for approximately three hours. The Summit Metro Crash Response Team is investigating the crash.
Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation, according to Holland.
