Akron, OH - BBB warns Northeast Ohio victims of wind property damage to be on alert for storm chasers – scammers looking to prey on those in need of instant contracting assistance.
On March 8, Northeast Ohio was struck with winds reaching up to 50-70 mph. These strong winds have been the cause of power outages and property damage covering all of Northeast Ohio. These gusts have damaged roofs, lifted trees and flipped trucks.
During the aftermath, scammers can take advantage of victims of property damage who are in need of immediate help. If you notice any damage – contact your insurance company as soon as possible.
