Hudson -- The Main Street project is on schedule, according to City Engineer Thom Sheridan.

The old road has been removed and a new road bed is under construction along Main Street between state Route 303 and Clinton Street. New curbs will be added and the sidewalk which services the stores and restaurants will be replaced in sections, and the work done at night to allow businesses to keep their doors open. Work will continue on the west side of the street through November.

Southbound traffic cannot make a left turn at Aurora Road or at state Route 303 through Nov. 15, and residents are asked to avoid turning left on Ravenna, which is causing traffic to back up. The city suggest using Middleton to Stow and then back on state Route 303. All parking from Park Lane to Clinton Street will be closed.
