Election Day food collection Nov. 8

Published: October 9, 2016 12:00 AM

On Tuesday, Nov. 8 during the National Election, the Hudson Ministerial Association will be having a food drive to benefit the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank.

The HMA will have people with barrels at each of the 10 polling locations in Hudson. Members of the Hudson Ministerial Association and residents of Hudson will be helping during the polling hours thanking people for their donations. The barrels have to be 100 feet from the polls according to the law, so look for them.

The 10 collection sites are: Christ Community Chapel-Hudson, 750 W. Streetsboro St.; Barlow Community Center, 41 S. Oviatt St., Hudson High School-Gagat Building; Hudson Library & Historical Society, 96 Library St.; Grace Presbyterian Church, 781 Terex Road; Laurel Lake Retirement Community, 200 Laurel Lake Dr.; Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 55 Atterbury Blvd.; Hope Community Church, 3033 Middleton Road; River of Life Community Church, 5649 Stow Road; Hudson United Methodist Church, 2600 Hudson Aurora Road.

Bring a nonperishable item and help out the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank. Please begin to think about how you can help in this effort.

If you would like to help, contact Rev. Michael Conklin at Rejoice Lutheran Church at 330-653-5980.
