"We are very pleased that so many parents and caregivers in our community actively promote their children's literacy and intellectual curiosity by bringing them to the library's children's rooms to take out books, participate in storytime, summer reading or any of the many other activities provided," said Basil Musnuff, chairman of the Board's Endowment Committee. "We hope that their early experiences at the library spawn a love of learning that will enrich them all their lives.
"The Children's Room is one of the biggest attractions bringing patrons through our doors and families to downtown Hudson to enjoy all there is to offer both at the library and in the shops and restaurants that surround us," Musnuff added. "We are proud of its role in helping the library emerge as the heart of the Hudson community and we hope that the community will join us on Nov. 11 as we celebrate the completion of this exciting project that will benefit our children and families."
