Hudson - School facilities are a community investment in the future, and the Hudson City School District wants residents' input though participation in its outreach program, "Exploring Future Facility Possibilities... together."
Over the next six weeks, the district is offering opportunities through focus groups and an online survey for community members, parents, service clubs, staff members, students and community leaders to weigh in on the Hudson City Schools Master Facilities Plan.°
Parent focus groups are being offered four times. All parent focus groups will be held in the Hudson Middle School Media Center.
The dates will be:
Tuesday, Sept. 27, 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 3, °9 - 10:30 a.m.
Monday, Oct. 3, 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 10, 1 - 2:30 p.m.
°Community Focus Groups are being offered at the Barlow Community Center/ Memorial Room.
Thursday, Oct. 13, 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 17, 6 - 7:30 p.m.
The focus groups will open with a brief presentation by Superintendent Phil Herman. The Impact Group, a local public relations firm, will conduct the exchange of dialogue during the sessions.

Face-to-face is the very best way to exchange thoughts, however, time is valuable. For those who cannot attend a session, there will be an online survey available on the District's website, www.hudson.k12.oh.us in mid-October.
Herman, Business Manager Derek Cluse and architect Gary Sebach presented information regarding the Master Facilities Plan at the Sept. 12 Board of Education meeting. The meetings are videotaped and available for viewing°at Watch Board Meetings.
After the Master Facility Plan is adopted by the Board of Education, it will be posted on the District website. The next Board of Education Meeting is Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. in the High School Media Center.
