Hudson -- The case of a 59-year-old Valley View Road man was bound over to Summit County Common Pleas Court Aug. 14 during his preliminary hearing in Stow Municipal Court.

William E. Degyansky was arrested at his home Aug. 6 after police found close to 177 marijuana plants and other items used in the alleged home pot grow operation. Police also seized 3 pounds of harvested marijuana, grow lights, a ventilation system, chemicals and other hydroponic equipment.

Degyansky was charged with illegal manufacture of drugs or cultivation of marijuana and trafficking in drugs, both third degree felonies, according to Hudson officials.

"It was a grow operation complete with hydroponic grow material, chemicals, lights, fans and an irrigation system," according to Hudson Police.

Attorney information for Degyansky was not available at press time.

Degyansky posted a $50,000/10 percent bond after his Aug. 7 arraignment in Stow Municipal Court. The Common Pleas Court did not set a date set to review the case as of Aug. 18.
