Hudson -- A site plan for a new 2,400-square-foot building for offices has been approved by the planning commission for 75 S. Main St.

The property is in the District 5 Village Core District adjacent to the city's electrical substation to the east, the Norfolk Southern rail lines to the north, South Main Street and Veterans Park to the west and the 85 South Main Street mixed use commercial building to the south.

Architect John Toomey presented the building plan to the commission on behalf of owner Duane Hills.

In addition to the 2,400-square-foot building, the project includes an alteration to the existing parking lot with associated landscaping.

Commission member Rob Kagler requested a single trash collection bin for the complex with an enclosure.
