Hudson --State Representative Kristina Daley Roegner (R-Hudson) today presented a House Commendation to Hudson resident Ada Cooper Miller, who turned 110 years of age on Dec. 12, 2013.
Miller has the distinction of being one of the country's oldest citizens and is the oldest in the 37th District, having lived in the city of Hudson longer than anyone in the city's 200-year history.
"Ada Cooper Miller is a lovely lady. She is bright, cheerful and has a wonderful sense of humor," Roegner said. "At 110 years and still going strong, Hudson is truly blessed to have Ada Cooper Miller as our oldest citizen."
Miller served as a Hudson School Board member for 40 years after winning her seat in 1938. A graduate of Western Reserve Academy, she was active in numerous community organizations including the Hudson Garden Club and the Episcopal Church Women. She currently resides at the Elms of Hudson.
