Hudson City Council Legislative lowdown Dec. 4

A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a contract for construction management and inspection services for the road programs, miscellaneous capital improvement projects and private developments with Quality Control Inspection, Inc. from Jan. 1, 2014 through Dec. 31, 2014; and declaring an emergency.

A resolution authorizing the city manager to apply for federal Transportation Alternatives Program funds programmed by the Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study to construct various projects for 2017-2018. The federal funds are estimated to be approximately $3.55 million of a total $4.4 million in projects; and declaring an emergency.

A resolution authorizing the city manager to apply for federal Surface Transportation Program funds and resurfacing program funds programmed by the Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation study for various road projects in 2017-2018. The federal funds are estimated to be approximately $37.2 million of a total $55.9 million in projects; and declaring an emergency.

A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with the city of Stow for cooperation and cost sharing of $51,170 each of the total $400,000 cost to install actuated traffic signals on Seasons Road at the entrance and exit ramps of state Route 8; and declaring an emergency.
