A. Motion to direct the clerk to send notice to the Ohio Division of Liquor Control indicating no request for a hearing regarding a new class 'c' permit to sell alcoholic beverages for Otani Hudson Inc., dba Otani Japanese Restaurant, 180 W. Streetsboro St. in Hudson.
B. Motion to acknowledge the timely receipt of the July 2013 monthly financial report for Council's review.
C. A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a contract with First Choice Tree Work LLC for $21,000 for tree planting services on city road right of ways, greens and public properties.
D. A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a purchase agreement for a police vehicle, a new generation police interceptor-utility from Germain Ford for $25,244 to replace a Crown Victoria police interceptor involved in a crash. Insurance money would pay for the replacement; and declaring an emergency.
E. A resolution authorizing the city manager to terminate a current 5-year lease agreement with the Lake Erie Golf Car Co. and to enter into a new 7-year agreement fro $57,750 annually with Lake Erie Golf Car Co. for the leasing of new golf cars at the Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club from Oct. 1, 2103 through Dec. 31, 2020.
F. A resolution approving an amendment to the Summit County 9-1-1 Plan. Copley Township and the Cities of Norton and Barberton have formed the Southwest Summit Council of Governments (SWSCOG) for the purpose of consolidating public safety communications and have recommended an amendment to the Summit County 9-1-1 Plan which requires action by City Council.
