Heritage of Hudson opens its doors

Hudson -- It was a dark and rainy night, but the halls were crowded to watch the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the "beautiful" new skilled nursing facility on Barlow Road.

Developer LTC Realty 1 LLC converted the 35,000-square-foot former Flood Co. headquarters at 1212 Barlow Road into a skilled nursing facility, the Heritage of Hudson, which was opened for visitors Feb. 26.

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Carolyn Konefal said it was a great asset to the city and a "beautiful" building.

"I'm grateful to Hudson," said David Mitchell of LTC Realty 1 LLC. "I was told through the grapevine that Hudson was a tough place to do business, but we were welcomed with open arms."
