The Akron Water Department issued a boil water advisory for Akron Water customers in Hudson and Twinsburg Township, north of and including Middleton Road, the city of Hudson reported Wednesday afternoon.
Akron Water customers should boil their water for two minutes before drinking it. The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
The Akron Water Department reported a water main break on Middleton Road earlier in the day.
Residents in the area who do not have Akron water service are not impacted.

The Akron Water Department around 4 p.m. reported the eastbound lane of Middleton was closed as flaggers kept drivers moving in both directions on Middleton just east of Lascala Drive.
The repair is expected to be completed this evening.
