The Hudson Board of Education will vote on 2 percent pay raises for administrators and non-union employees Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. in the high school media.
Among 20 administrators scheduled to receive raises, Superintendent Steve Farnsworth is scheduled to receive a 2 percent wage increase to $141,831. Two other administrators are schedule to receive one-time pay adjustments, but the agenda doesn't specify the amount of the adjustments.

the Hudson City School District Compensation Strategy and Guidelines,
Administrator Salary Structure, and Non-represented Staff Salary Structure as
initiated by the Board. In addition, the Superintendent shall continue to provide
for ongoing review of the compensation program as needed to keep the
Compensation Strategy and Guidelines and salary structures current with new
laws and board policies and to meet the employment needs of the district.

A. Ohio Schools Council Cooperative advertising and receiving bids for
school bus purchases
WHEREAS, the Hudson City School District Board of Education may advertise
and receive bids for the purchase of school buses. The 2013-14 Cooperative
School Bus Purchasing Program fee is $325.
Therefore, Be It Resolved That: The Hudson City School District Board of
Education hereby authorizes the Ohio Schools Council to advertise and receive
bids on behalf of said Board as per the specification and quantities to be
submitted by the district's business manager. This Board agrees to pay $325 to
the Ohio Schools Council for school district membership as a service fee for this
purpose.
