Hudson's business incubator has new acting executive director

The board of directors for TECHudson, the Hudson business incubator, named George Buzzy as acting executive director Jan. 17 after James Phipps resigned the position.

According to a news release from TECHudson, Buzzy has a wealth of entrepreneurship experience, understands what new businesses face and has numerous connections to startup resources across Northeast Ohio.

Buzzy is a managing partner with private equity firm AG Partners, an official voting member of the North Coast Opportunities Technology Fund and an entrepreneurial advisor for Great Lakes Innovation and Development Enterprise (GLIDE), JumpStart Inc. and the North Coast Angel Fund.

Phipps plans to pursue his own business endeavors.
