Catastrophe Management Services (CMS) employees made sure no one was going hungry over the holidays with a major contribution to Hudson Community Service Association's Food Pantry.

A check for $1,832 was presented to Art LaFountain, food pantry representative Dec. 18.

"We wanted to do something to give back to the community," CMS adminstrative supervisor Mark Beech said.

He said his employees participated in various fundraisers throughout the year.

"We have Jeans For Charity every Friday. The staff pays $5 for charity if they want to wear jeans. We can't have open containers on the floor so we also sell CMS mugs and $1 of that cost goes to charity," Beech said.

Although the $1,832 check is the largest received by the fledgling food pantry, Beech said his employees efforts would continue being involved with the food pantry.

"We're very happy with the relationship," Beech said. "Next year we hope to raise even more."
