The city will be doing emergency repairs to a broken sanitary casting on a manhole cover in front of 72 Division St. on Tuesday, Jan. 8. The repairs should only take one day to complete, weather permitting, according to Communications Manager Jody Roberts.
The damage could have been caused by a snowplow, Roberts said.
The city did not say the road would be closed but traffic may be delayed.
