Hudson considering allowing bow hunting on Hines Hill property

Published:

Should the city of Hudson allow bow hunting for deer on its 428-acre property on Hines Hill Road?
City Council and staff members will discuss that possibility at Council’s workshop Nov. 27. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
The property houses the former Cuyahoga County Youth Development Center and acres of undeveloped land.
The city only allows bow hunting on properties 5 acres or larger with the landowners’ permission. The hunter and landowner must have Hudson permits.

Council will also discuss what to do with the 14 buildings on the property at the Tuesday workshop.

Other items on the agenda include the city's recent audit, storm water management, and a tree-planting grant.
