Bring a friend for a relaxing and fun time creating a piece of garden art out of an "up-cycled" wine bottle.
The first half of this workshop will be a demonstration on how to prepare the bottle. You will be shown how to cut, separate, sand and polish the cut glass edge. The second half will be hands-on where you will use the supplied components to assemble a completed wind chime/sun catcher. During this class you will learn basic design, color & composition plus fabrication techniques to build a durable wind chime/sun catcher. At the completion of class, you will have your own "custom designed" piece to take home.
This workshop will be a one day, 2-hour class, on the fourth Tuesday of the month, July 25 and Aug. 22.
The times are 10 to noon, 1-3 p.m., or 7-9 p.m. Class size is 2 to 6, ages 18 and up. Registration and class payment required in advance. To register, call the PAA at 330-657-2248 Wednesday to Sunday 11-5 .pm. For questions and additional information contact Pat Lemmeyer at 440-725-8393.
