Police seeking suspects from burglary in city of Green

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying two individuals responsible for a residential burglary on May 28, 2014 on Massillon Road in the city of Green. The two white male suspects arrived at the residence on Massillon Road at approximately 2:40 p.m. in a tan Mercury Sable. The vehicle has damage on the rear driver-side door. The burglary was caught on surveillance video.

One of the suspects forced entry into the residence while the other backed the vehicle up to the garage of the residence. The two men loaded several items into the vehicle including, but not limited to a chainsaw, 2 mitre saws, 2 air compressors, a gas welder, and a rifle.

Anyone with information on the burglary or the identity of the suspects should contact the Summit County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau at 330-643-2131. Anyone providing information leading to an arrest in this case may be eligible for an award through Summit County Crime Stoppers.
