Ohio man sentenced to 15 years for sex trafficking

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- A northwest Ohio man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted of using a website to solicit customers for teenage prostitutes.

Federal prosecutors say 28-year-old Brady Jackson was sentenced Monday in Toledo. He was convicted at trial last year of two counts of sex trafficking of children.

Court documents say Jackson advertised on a website called backpage.com that the girls, ages 15 and 16, were available for prostitution. Jackson told the girls that he would take all the money but would take them shopping and get their hair and nails done.

The girls were arrested at a Toledo motel Sept. 20 during a police undercover investigation into prostitution activities promoted in the escort section of the website.
