Jazz Fest resturns to town

Jazz will be the theme of the day March 16 when Hudson hosts the 10th annual Jazz Fest in the Hudson High School auditorium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jazz bands from Hudson High School, Hudson Middle School, Solon, Stow and other local districts will perform, and attend clinics and sectionals throughout the day.

The Jazz Fest will conclude with a performance by Conrad Herwig at 7 p.m. Other local professional musicians -- Jack Schantz, Bobby Selvaggio, Katherine Lauson-Iriarte, Rock Wehrmann, Dave Morgan, Mark Gondor and Jeremy Poparad also will perform. Hudson's own Jazz I band, directed by Roberto Iriarte, will open the show.
