The community is invited to one of Hudson's premier affairs, "Toast to Hudson," an evening gala, Feb. 25 at Rosewood Grill, which will be open exclusively for this event that night. The gala will benefit two of the community's most vital non-profit organizations: Hudson Community First and Hudson Community Foundation. The title sponsors for the event are long-time residents Tim and Amy Clepper.
"Toast to Hudson has become one of the community's most eagerly awaited galas. We are very excited to have it this year at one of Hudson's most popular spots, Rosewood Grill," said Laura Gasbarro, event co-chair.
Last year's event raised nearly $34,000 for Hudson Community First and Hudson Community Foundation. The event includes wines, hors d'oeuvres, silent auction items such as a fishing excursion upon a private boat, use of a VW Beetle Convertible for a month, and a raffle to win a piece of jewelry donated by Jewelry Art and valued at more than $500.
The entire community is invited. Tickets are $75 per person ($125 per couple) for guest tickets and $120 per person ($200 per couple) for patron tickets, which include a program listing. Reservations are required. The event, which holds 200, traditionally sells out quickly. To secure a ticket call Laura Gasbarro at 330-650-0752.
Additional Toast to Hudson sponsors include, at the Premier Level: Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics Hudson; Asian Sun; Esber Beverage Co.; ForTec Companies; Jo-Ann Stores Inc.; Kurtz & Co. of Keller Williams Chervenic Realty; Merryvale; and PNC Bank. Sponsors at the Supporting Level are: Collection Volkswagen of Hudson and Day Ketterer Attorneys at Law.
