The Hudson Hub-Times was recently the target of a spam attack.
The attack, which included user-generated posts in our Events calendar and Citizen News section, published messages such as "iOS 6/5 Jailbreaking & Unlocking Tools for iPhone, iPAD, iPOD Touch, APPLE TV: How to Download Upgrade Downgrade?" and "How to Watch Chick-fil-A Bowl LSU Tigers vs Clemson Tigers Live Stream."
Other posts included in the spam attack included "Chicago New Year Even Fireworks 2013 Live Streaming For PC HQHD TV," and "NCAA Rose Bowl 2013 Live Stream Watch Stanford Vs. Wisconsin Live Online Free in High Quality."
The spam attack, which is believed to be human-executed, created multiple registered user accounts that allowed the user to post their spam content on the website.
Our team worked diligently to remove and adjust to the attack, which has never occurred before.
