Learned Owl upcoming events for April 19

The following events will be happening at The Learned Owl Book Shop, 204 N Main St., Hudson.


Local author A. D. Adams will visit April 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. to sign his fantasy novels, "Dragon Healer of Tone" and "Dragon Savior of Tone."

His first novel, "Dragon Healer of Tone," the story of Terra, first male human born in many seasons who has the magic of healing. He was taken as a child and raised by the great coastal dragons, and only they know of his special powers. Having been driven away by a great wizard, the humans are now in need of a savior, and Terra is their only hope.

His second book in the series is "Dragon Savior of Tone" and he has also written a children's book, "My Brother is a Dragon." All three books will be available to purchase.

Adams has a degree in engineering from the University of Akron, and has worked as a finite element engineer, computer system administrator, sofware engineer and draftsman. He has worked for Babcock and Wilcox, the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and Veyance Technologies. After publishing several engineering articles, he made the transition to writing novels.
