Akron RubberDucks single-game tickets on sale March 7

AKRON, OHIO) February 23, 2017 – The Akron RubberDucks announced today its single-game tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday, March 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available over the phone and online at www.akronrubberducks.com.
Single-game tickets start as low as $11 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under or adults 60 and over, and $5 for general admission.  Children three years old and younger are free, as long as they do not require a seat. There are also seats available for $25 in the premium Homerville section in Tiki Terrace and $17 tickets are available for the full-service Dave Walter BMW Duck Row seats.
Fans can purchase tickets by calling the RubberDucks office at 330-253-5151 or online at www.akronrubberducks.com. The Canal Park box office will open March 27 at 10 a.m. and it will be open on non-game days Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on weekends. During Monday through Saturday home game dates, the box office will open from 10 a.m. until the end of the game. On Sunday home dates, it will open at 11 a.m. until the end of the game. Tickets are not available for purchase in the Canal Park team store.
“We can’t wait for the 2017 season to kick off!” said RubberDucks General Manager Jim Pfander. “Fans will see that we have added to our legacy of building Canal Park into the epicenter of affordable family fun in Northeast Ohio with an amazing 70-game lineup of promotions, top-notch baseball, and unmatched customer service,” said RubberDucks General Manager Jim Pfander. “We are excited for Opening Night (April 6) when can celebrate last season’s Eastern League Championship with the ring presentation and special pre-game ceremonies!”
The Homerville area, located in front of the right field Tiki Bar in the Tiki Terrace, consists of the two rows of 11 swivel-seats with drink rails. These seats provide some of the best views in Canal Park. Homerville tickets include either two 16-ounce beers or four 24-ounce soft drinks, which are redeemable at the Tiki Bar. Duck Row has amazing close-to-the-field views, and those tickets also include a full wait service, seats with a 360-degree swivel capabilities, and a drink rail. A limited number of the Duck Row seats are available.
In addition to this season’s 70-game home schedule, which includes a packed promotional calendar with 22 fireworks dates, giveaways every Saturday, celebrity guests such as Megan Cavanagh (Marla Hooch from “A League of Their Own”) and Robert Maschio (The Todd from “Scrubs”), and nightly promotions such as the “Thirsty Thursdays” with dollar beverage specials and fun, community games for the entire family, like Akron Children’s Sunday Family FUNdays when fans can play catch on the field pre-game and kids can run the bases after the game.
The Akron RubberDucks are the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and defending Eastern League champions. The 2017 season will be the franchise’s 21st since moving to Akron. The 20th year of Canal Park kicks off with the Home Opener on Thursday, April 6, at 6:35 p.m. vs. Bowie Baysox.
