The Hudson High School Swing Marching Band returned from their 2014 band camp and hit the ground marching. After unloading from the buses, the band got into formation at Lavelli Field to perform their first show of the season. HCTV's Meg Andrus was there to record the event which will be shown starting Wednesday evening.

Case Western Reserve University Professor Michael Clune discussed his award winning book, "White Out, The Secret Life of Heroin" with KSU reporter and producer Kabir Bhatia at the Hudson Library. A Best Book in 2013 by both The New Yorker magazine and NPR's On Point with Tom Ashbrook program, the book is a first person story of the devastating impact of drug contact and dependency and the courageous recovery that allowed the author to restart and excel in his "after drug" life. The program was produced by HCTV Advisory Committee Chair Nick Zaklanovich.

A special feature this week is The Holocaust: A Soldier's Perspective, a talk given by WWII veteran Dr. Dick Dutro at the Hudson Library and Historical Society. The program taped, produced and provided by Northwest Ohio Educational Technology Foundation (NWOET).

Music from The Western Reserve presents a performance by Cleveland Orchestra cellist Brian Thornton and pianist Elizabeth DeMio featuring the life and music of his teacher, Lev Aronson, followed by Cello Suite No. 3 in C by J. S. Bach.

BRAVO! Kent State Art is a monthly program featuring the students and faculty from the College of Arts at Kent State University. This month's installment features the KSU Fashion School's Designer Show at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, the 2014 Musical Theater Showcase and a performance from the Kent Blossom Music Festival.
