Come join the Women's Art League of Akron's celebration of the "2014 Spring Member's Show." Founded in 1933, the Women's Art League strove to unite and give recognition to women artists in and around the Akron area. After 81 years the league is still going strong thanks to its talented artists. Member's work ranges from realistic to abstract and includes media such as oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastels, colored pencils, graphite, mixed media, fiber art, photography, sculpture, collage and printmaking. Help the group celebrate by coming to view this extraordinary show.
The exhibition is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 5 through June 20 at the John F. Seiberling Gallery. The gallery is located at 1403 West Hines Hill Road, within the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park office in Peninsula.
