Tour the Cuyahoga River at the Gorge to see towering rock ledges and breathtaking scenery from your boat. Led by ACA-certified instructors from Crooked River Adventures and a Metro Parks naturalist. Ten rental spaces available. Ten more spaces available for those with their own canoes or kayaks, but only with current watercraft registration and a life jacket. If you are interested in butterflies, join us to learn about the Long-term Monitoring of Butterflies project. The park district participates in this national program sponsored by the Ohio Lepidopterists, the Ohio Biological Survey and the Ohio Division of Wildlife. Butterfly monitors tally species, which helps determine the health of the butterfly population and the environment. You don't need to know anything about butterflies to enjoy this.
