HCTV Program Schedule for April 14 - 20

The Hudson Library & Historical Society's Artist Biographical Series presented American Impressionist painter Mary Cassatt by art historian Felicia Stadelman. Cassatt struggled with family doubt of her pursuit of an art career and as a female American artist in the male-dominated Impressionist art world.

Dr. Ritika Jaini, Ph.D. of the Cleveland Clinic spoke at WRA about her research, "Development of a Breast Cancer Vaccine," shown on HCTV this week. The WRA students raised $3,000 with their annual Crush-a-Gram project and presented the check to Dr. Jaini to support her lab's research work to prevent breast cancer.

The HCTV "Looking Back" oral history series presents a show about the history of Hudson High School stadiums and coaches. The interview by Ed Sogan includes Joe Denton and Jerry Reeves, former HHS football coaches.

Music from the Buckeye State presents Nicole Keller, organist, in a program featuring the music of Buxtehude, Sweelinck and J.S. Bach. Keller, chair of the Organ Department at Baldwin Wallace University, performs on the organ of the Lindsay-Crossman Chapel located on the University's campus.

"Memory Matters for ALL Ages" discusses the importance of others being able to provide details about your medical history in case of an emergency. This requires some preplanning and organization.

HCTV replays two Hudson Summer Music Festival concerts from 2010: The Landsberg Community Band and The Bel Airs. Also, the History of the Hudson Library by James Caccamo will be shown.

The City Club of Cleveland presents "Guns and Common Ground" with Ned Hill, Phillip Morris and Dennis Terez, Moderator.

HCTV is streamed live through http://hctv.pegstream.com.

HCTV Channel 15 "Video on Demand" is at http://hctv.pegcentral.com.
