Fairlawn, OH - Skies are clearing, flowers are blooming and, Spring holidays Easter and Mother's Day are right around the corner! Need that one-of-a-kind gift for Mom, or just looking for fresh decor after the long, cold, wintry months? The Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show is here.
"Our Summit Country Spring Avant-Garde show is one of our larger shows," said Becki Cooper, Founder of Avant-Garde Art & Craft Shows. "All vendors are hand-picked, ensuring a unique lineup of artists and crafters that set themselves apart from any other out there. You don't want to miss it!"
The Avant-Garde Art & Craft Shows are based in Ohio year-round. Each show features the most talented artisans and crafters from all around the area and each share a similar trait; They are one of a kind!
The Summit County Avant-Garde Art & Crafter Show has something special for everyone. From jewelry, to yard art, to handbags and soaps, these handmade and unique products are ready to bring life into your home.
"All the vendors' products are either handmade, natural or just insanely unique," said Kate Kelly, regular Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show attendee. "You can't just walk into a store on the street and expect them to have this kind of stuff."
A portion of each show goes to charity, and this event will benefit the local non-profit cancer wellness center, Stewart's Caring Place. This grassroots organization, located in Akron, provides support services, free-of-charge, to individuals and families touched by cancer.
This two-day event starts on Saturday, April 12 and runs through Sunday, April 13. The show will be held at St. George's Fellowship Centre in Fairlawn, Ohio. Saturday hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $3 to the public and children under 12 are free.
