Program schedule for March 24-30

The 57th annual Hudson Schools PTO Pancake Breakfast took place on March 1 in the packed Hudson High School Commons. Coverage of the event, hosted by HCTV's own Brian Suntken, brings highlights of all of the fun and excitement that keep Hudsonites coming back year after year.

This week, HCTV features the Hudson High School Music Department's Mid-Winter concert in an hour long program of festive marches, percussion ensembles and sophisticated playing from the School's Wind Symphony.

Music from the Buckeye State presents Prokofiev's Peter & The Wolf performed by Kent State University professors Jerry Wong and Eric van Baars. Thisconcertwas part of the University's "2014 Kent Keyboard Series" and recorded in a live performance. The program is produced by Brian Suntken.

"Orbit of Discovery" was presented by Dr. Don Thomas who flew on four separate missions during the American Space Shuttle program in the 1990s. His most momentous flight was the 1995 All-Ohio crewed flight of the Space Shuttle Discovery.

"Memory Matters for ALL Ages" discusses many ways to upgrade your current memory fitness routine. Kathy Kilpatrick suggests ways to challenge your brain with new activities.

This week, HCTV replays two Hudson Summer Music Festival concerts from 2011: "The Cake Walkin' Jass Band" and the 1960s retro girl group "The Pop Tarts."

The City Club of Cleveland welcomes John Churchill, secretary of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
