Rocky River, Ohio – There’s nothing better then the first signs of Spring after a long and cold winter in Northeast Ohio. The Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show invites you to celebrate the much welcomed change of season with its annual indie-inspired arts and crafts event this upcoming March.
The 2014 West Side Spring Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show will be held Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 23rd from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at River Memorial Hall, 21016 Hilliard Blvd. in Rocky River. This two-day show will feature 100 artists and crafters selling their original items.
With the coming of Easter, Mother’s and Father’s Day, graduations, proms, baby and bridal showers, there are plenty of gift-giving holidays around the corner.
“This time of year is perfect to attend one of our shows for those looking for a unique gift for friends and family,” said show organizer Becki Cooper. “Try gourmet chocolates for Easter, luxurious candles or body butter for Mother’s Day, and don’t forget dad on Father’s Day with a wooden hand-crafted luxury pen or sport memorabilia. For the ladies prepping for prom on their own wedding, we have a lot of beautiful jewelry artists and crafters that cover everything from vintage inspired pieces to modern and trendy statement items.”
In addition to being the perfect gift finding destination, each Avant-Garde show supports a local charity. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s spring event will benefit local non-profit Drink Local. Drink Tap. Admission to the show is $3.00, and children under 12 are free. There is also free parking on site.
