Hudson--Seton Catholic School will present "Godspell Jr." May 2 and 3 at 7 p.m. in the Valentine Family Center.

This is the first musical performance on the new Paul F. and Margaret M. Wutz Foundation Performing Arts Stage in the new family center.

This musical, by two-time Academy Award-winner Stephen Schwartz, features the international hit "Day By Day," as well as "Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord," "Learn Your Lessons Well," "All For The Best," "All Good Gifts," and "Beautiful City."

In this musical, the parables of Jesus Christ come to life with humanity and heart, according to music teacher and performance director Jennifer Morris.

"These young men and women are bringing fresh, fun and funky characters to the timeless Godspell story," she said of her student cast.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for students. The box office opens at 6 p.m. for the Friday and Saturday evening performances. The community is invited.
