The Seton Catholic School SWAT (Students Working to Advance Technology) Team received The Innovative Solution Award Trophy at the First LEGO League Regional Competition Dec. 15 at Orchard Middle School in Solon. The team won for its "Senior Solutions the 2012 Challenge" LEGO project. The team project, iFind, uses radio frequency identification to locate a programmed chip embedded in the frame of a pair of prescription glasses, enabling seniors to locate lost or misplaced articles with less frustration and allow for more independence. The team includes, from left, back row: Rosey Antol, Charley Antol, Charlie Martin, and Nivyan Chilumula-Jala; front: Slade Brooks, Donald Wedding and Collin Quinn. Team members Nick Duber and Nolan Quinn are not pictured.
