This year's annual Hudson Home & Garden Tour will take place June 15 and 16.
Again this year, the tour will offer extended evening hours on Thursday until 8 p.m. to tour properties. The event begins at 10 a.m. both days and ends at 5 p.m. Friday.
This year sees the Tour's 70th anniversary, and it promises to be special. With the exception of the gardens at the Montessori School, this year's Tour is a true walking tour featuring village homes in the downtown Hudson area. The tour features two fabulous gardens, three beautiful homes and two properties that feature both the homes and gardens. While one home is new to the Tour, all the other properties have been featured on the Tour in the past six decades.
Presale tickets are $20 and may be purchased by writing to the Hudson Garden Club Ticket Chairman, 205 S. Main St., Hudson, OH 44236. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope and a check for $20 per ticket payable to Hudson Garden Club.
Tickets that include the complete program and map will be sold at Hudson's Acme Fresh Market and Learned Owl Bookshop. Ticket sales are by cash or check only.
Proceeds from the tour fund tree planting in Hudson, the Garden Club's annual scholarships, and other grants and community gardening projects. For more information visit www.hudsongardenclub.org and follow the event on Facebook.
