On June 2 The Hudson Public Schools' Endowment Fund Board will again host the Hudson Open at Ellsworth Meadows Golf Course.

The Endowment Fund serves Hudson students through both its scholarship and grants' programs. In 2016, the fund awarded over $178,000 in scholarships to deserving Hudson seniors. In addition, numerous funds were approved as grants to support teacher initiatives that directly impact students' educational experiences. These included funding for handicap accessible playground equipment, 3D computers, and musical instruments.

The Hudson Open 18-hole scramble format includes prizes for men and women for hole-in-one, longest putt, and longest drive. Cost is $85 per golfer or $340 per foursome, which includes cart, snack, luncheon, and golfer gift. Registration begins at 8 a.m., followed by an 8:30 shot gun start. Fantastic prizes will be raffled off throughout the day. If you do not play golf, you can still show support by sponsoring a hole or becoming a Hole-in-One patron, Eagle patron, or Birdie patron. Team entry forms and forms for making raffle donations or patron contributions are found at www.hudson.K12.oh.us >Choose a school> District Home>Giving>Hudson Endowment Fund>2017 Hudson Open.
