Ezekial Richardson Chapter CDXVIIC announce new officers

The Ezekial Richardson Chapter CDXVIIC will meet at the Noble House, 60 W. Streetsboro St. in Hudson at noon on May 15.

Reservations should be made with Libby Erwin, 122 S. Hayden parkway, Hudson, OH 44236 by May 10.

Arrangements for this event were made by Lora Staats, vice president.

Sharon Snowden, president, will lead the opening ceremonies and conduct a short business meeting.

The program "General Health and Sleep Disorders" will be given by a representative from Cleveland Clinic Akron General.

New officers for 2017-19 will be installed at the meeting. The elected officers are President Rose Elaine McIntyre; Vice President Roberta Harlow Dodd; Chaplain Marjorie Ann Sonnemann Solan; Recording Secretary Megan Jarvis Al Chebaina; Corresponding Secretary Elizabeth Barr Field Erwin; Treasurer Carol Jean Singleton Jones; Registrar Sharon Rae Singleton Snowden; Historian Michelle Dodd Jay; Librarian Laura Peniston Erwin; and Parliamentarian Sharon Rae Singleton Snowden.

Colonial Dames XVIIC is a national organization and is open to women 18 years and older who can prove lineal descent from an ancestor who lived and served prior to 1701 in one of the original colonies. Their purpose is to preserve records and historic sites, educate youth and preserve lineage and coats of arms of ancestors.

This chapter welcomes new members.
