The GriefCare Place offers support groups that give those grieving the loss of a loved one by death the understanding of the grief process and encourages them that healing will come. All grief support groups are at no cost.
All groups will meet at The GriefCare Place at 4499 Darrow Road in Stow in the same building as Attentive Home Health Services and Western Reserve Foot Clinic – entrance in rear.

Individual counseling is provided by a licensed professional therapist in affiliation with Moriah Counseling & Consulting. Clients are seen on Wednesday’s at the GriefCare Place by appointment only.

WIDOWED MEN’S GROUP — This group is designed for men who have experienced the death of a spouse. This group will meet on May 8 at 7 p.m. Led by Mike Farmer.
BEREAVED PARENTS’ GROUP — This group is designed specifically for parents who have experienced the death of a child. This group will meet on May 10 at 7 p.m. Led by Chris Campo who has experienced the loss of a child and understands what the grief experience is like for parents.
Golfers get ready for the ‘Good Grief Golf Outing’ on June 16. This event helps support the groups who are dealing with a loss of a loved one.
