James Marron's presents 'History of the Guitar' at Going Strong meeting Feb. 9

Cuyahoga Falls, OH - James Marron will perform a recital of solo guitar music that will take the audience on a musical journey through time for the Going Strong Feb. 9 meeting in Wesley Hall at the First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls, 245 Portage Trail, starting at 1 p.m. Refreshments will be available after the program.

The classical guitarist and composer has established himself through dynamic performances of the latest in contemporary music, his original compositions, as well as insightful interpretations of the classics. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, Marron has performed in Italy, France, Germany, Ireland, Canada and throughout the U.S. Marron is on the faculty at the University of Akron and the College of Wooster.
