The GriefCare Place offers support groups that give those grieving the loss of a loved one by death the understanding of the grief process and encourages them that healing will come. All grief support groups are at no cost. All groups will meet at The GriefCare Place at 4499 Darrow Road in Stow in the Western Reserve Foot Clinic/Nationwide building — entrance in rear. Group Sessions — Week of Feb. 6
Until Healing Comes — This group is a foundational progressive program for any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one. The group will meet Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. led by Lou-Ann Redmon.
A Laughter is the Best Medicine fundraiser has been scheduled for Feb. 10 to benefit the GriefCare Place. It will take place at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, 2345 Fourth St., Cuyahoga Falls, at 7 p.m. and is sponsored by Western Reserve Hospital, the city of Cuyahoga Falls and The GriefCare Place.
