HUDSON -- The highly anticipated annual gala -- Toast to Hudson -- is set for Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Western Reserve Academy's Murdough Athletic Center.
Toast to Hudson, always a sell-out, celebrates its 10-year anniversary with the 2017 event. The milestone will be celebrated with many special touches, including music, a special menu catered by Taste of Excellence, and a video presentation. The event benefits two of Hudson's most vital non-profit organizations: Hudson Community Foundation and Hudson Community First.
"Toast to Hudson has become one of the community's most eagerly awaited galas and always sells out. We are very excited to have Akron Children's Hospital returning as our Presenting Sponsor this year," stated Hudson Community First Co-executive Director Laura Gasbarro.
Last year's single-night event raised more than $80,000 to be shared equally by Hudson Community First and Hudson Community Foundation. The event includes delicious wines made available by Esber Beverage and The Meeker Vineyard, generous hors d'oeuvres, and an extravagant silent auction. Guests can look forward to bidding on a full set of braces metal or Invisalign donated by Braces by White, as well as vacation destinations, and all bidding will be done online via cell phone App. The night also includes a raffle to win a glamorous John Hardy bracelet and earrings set donated by Jewelry Art and valued at nearly $1,000.
Ticket prices range from $85 per person to $250 per person. Reservation deadline is Jan. 27. Tickets are available online at www.bidpal.net/toast2017 or by calling Hudson Community Foundation's Amy Jordan at 330-655-3580.
