Learn about container gardens at HGC meeting

Published: October 12, 2016 12:00 AM

The Hudson Garden Club is excited to announce the Oct. 20 general meeting will feature Stanley Stine and his program "Pots and Planters: Success with Container Gardens."

Baughman's beautiful home and garden on Hudson Aurora Road has been featured twice on the Hudson Garden Club's Home and Garden Tour. Her design style is always a showstopper through her unexpected use of color and texture. With plant examples, Q&A time and informative handouts, the evening will inspire innovative spring and summer containers for attendees to create in their own gardens.

The discussion will also include successful plant combinations, tips of the trade, helpful pointers for design and addressing specific challenges when implementing container gardens.

The meeting will be at Laurel Lake, 200 Laurel Lake Drive, with social time at 6:45 p.m. and the meeting starting at 7. Anyone interested in learning about container gardening is welcome to attend as the meeting is open to the public. Call Bronwyn Pierson at 330-612-4879 with any questions about the evening.
