Whether you're just getting started putting together your family tree or are a family history research pro with years of experience, chances are the Hudson Library & Historical Society has a resource guide, database, digital collection or other material that can help you with your genealogy project.
The hub of our information for family history research is located in the archives department. On Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. Gwendolyn Mayer, archivist at the library, will give an overview of archival resources in the archives for the family historian and also highlight the newest research materials.
This program is free and registration is not necessary. The Hudson Genealogy Study Group is open to anyone with an interest in genealogy. The study group always welcomes new members and meets every month at the library. Membership dues are $15 per person or couple. For more information contact the archives department of the library at 330-653-6658 ext. 1017.
