AKRON, OH- Community Health Center, a Summit County provider of addiction treatment, is holding its first annual Break the Cycle: Addiction Recovery Mile on Friday, Sept. 30 at 5:30 p.m. at Lock 3 in Downtown Akron.
This free family-friendly event will include inspirational messages about recovery, a mile walk around downtown Akron, activities, food and much more. Other local organizations will be present and an open recovery meeting will also be held following the walk.

Community Health Center has been providing quality addiction treatment services in the area since 1974. The agency treats about 6,500 individuals and family members annually and offers residential, outpatient and medically assisted treatment services.
