The local Hudson chapter of Dining for Women, dedicated to empowering women and girls in developing countries, will be hosting a fall membership picnic on Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. at 1560 Groton Drive in Hudson.
Current members are encouraged to bring friends, and all those interested in joining the organization are welcome! The picnic will feature food and drink from around the world, along with an open informational discussion about the goal of Dining for Women and a focus on the featured September program.
Please join the members of Dining for Women for this fun, casual event to learn more about what the Hudson chapter does and how you can become involved.
To RSVP or get in touch with questions, please contact Tamara Peterson at email@example.com or 330-606-5023.
Dining for Women began 10 years ago with the hope of making a sustainable difference in the lives of women in developing countries. It is now 422 chapters strong with over 8,000 members. The organization focuses on a different featured program every month, and had a direct impact on over 68,000 women and girls in 2015 alone - including refugees and adolescent girls at high risk for trafficking and underage marriage.
