Hudson Community and Friends,
You and your family are invited to come and stand in memory of Scott Graber and in support of Firefighter Ginger Graber and her family, on Friday morning as Scott Graber is transported by "Old #1" fire truck from Johnson-Romito Funeral Home to Hope Community Church for the memorial service.
The processional will depart from the funeral home no later than 10:40 a.m. (a precise time is not known). It will travel along Oviatt Street to Aurora Street, then North on Stow Road to Middleton, and then East on Middleton to the church.
Please come and feel free to bring your children--no matter what age--at/around 10 to 10:15 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18 to stand on the sidewalks as a show of support as the family and fire truck pass by.
1. Where to Stand: Please stand along Aurora Street, starting at the Oviatt/Aurora Street intersection, anywhere all the way up as it becomes Hudson-Aurora Road, as well as along Stow Road headed North up to Ellsworth Hill. Please do NOT stand along Oviatt or along Middleton Road.
2. Parking: Please do not park on Aurora Street/Hudson-Aurora Road. Park on side streets and in parking lots (no school, so North Hayden Parkway and school parking lots may be ideal) to ensure safety and clear passage.
3. Clothing: As a fitting tribute, younger children are encouraged to wear Safety Town t-shirts. Others are encouraged to wear any "Hudson" spirit wear type shirts/jackets or any red-colored clothing.
4. Signs: Feel free to hold signs of support - especially any created by the children.
Thanks for your support and for spreading the word.
From Pam Schuellerman
