After many months of a divisive and emotional presidential campaign, the time has come to focus on healing and unity. Christ Church Episcopal (on the Green in Hudson) will host a Community Service of Healing and Unity on the evening after the election. All are welcome, whatever one's political or religious belief (including undecided or none).
The 30 minute service will take place on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in the church at 21 Aurora St. This will be an opportunity to gather together for readings, prayers and songs of healing and peace.
"O Lord, bless the leaders of our land, that we may be a people at peace among ourselves, and a blessing to other nations of the earth." From the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, p 821.
