Sunday worship at First Presbyterian Church of Hudson begins at 10:30 a.m. Mary Gulledge is being welcomed to the pulpit. Gulledge is an accomplished writer and has been published in the Upper Room and Guideposts devotionals.
This Sunday is SPUDS Sunday. Bring a donation of a bag of potatoes and place them in the collection bin in the Narthex. The potatoes will be donated to the Hudson Food Pantry for their monthly food distribution.
The Handbell Choir will practice on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. It is beginning work on Christmas season music. People interested in ringing with the choir please contact the church for more information.
The Music Theory Course will host the second class on Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m. This class will cover tempo and rhythm. This course is open to the public.
Lunch and Learn will be Oct. 20 in Parish Hall. Lunch is served at noon and a $4 donation is requested. The speaker is from Western Reserve Hospital and will present 'Healthy Heart, Healthy You,' the first of a three part series. Reservations may be made to Mary Pat DeLambo at email@example.com.
