Sunday worship at First Presbyterian Church begins at 10:30 a.m. Patrons will be gleaning lessons from the story of Jonah by looking at how we learn to be thankful even during difficult times.
The Handbell Choir will practice on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. It is beginning to work on Christmas season music. People who are interested in ringing with the choir can contact the church for more information.
The Music Theory Course will host the second class on Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m. This class will cover tempo and rhythm. This Course is open to the public, and it's not too late to join.
Newborns In Need will meet on Oct. 15. The work day will continue sewing and assembling items for babies. If you have a love of babies and would like to help, we have a job for you! Come and help us as we help the smallest of God's children.
Lunch and Learn will be Oct. 20 in Parish Hall. Lunch is served at noon and a $4 donation is requested. The speaker is from Western Reserve Hospital and will present "Healthy Heart, Healthy You," the first of a three-part series. Reservations may be made to Mary Pat DeLambo at email@example.com.
SPUDS Sunday will be Oct. 16. Bring your donation of a bag of potatoes and place them in the collection bin in the Narthex. The potatoes will be donated to the Hudson Food Pantry for their monthly food distribution.
